DiaKhem™ Technologies LLC, a Michigan-based company, is a partnership between Diazem™ Corporation of Midland, Michigan, and Chemtura Corporation of Middlebury, Connecticut. DiaKhem was established to market and commercialize recently developed and patentable technology using silane chemistry, surface science and polymer chemistry to create separation products targeted at mining and environmental remediation industries.

DiaKhem’s unique family of proprietary/patented surface-modification technologies is the cornerstone of the company’s solutions to many other industrial separation problems. The ability to modify the surfaces of polymers, silica (sand) and other substrates is central to addressing purification of industrial waste streams, recovery of precious metals and the removal of mercury from coal-burning flues.
